about

Blackholeprisoner is the lockdown project of Philippine based musician Bobby Legaspi who before all the proverbial shit hit the fan, played (and will continue to do so after the aforementioned shit) in local sludge doom bands Surrogate Prey and Kushagra . The sound of blackholeprisoner is inspired by horror themes, film scores and atonal music.
Gestated during the time of the covid pandemic, Blank Vacuum was hatched during quarantine. Infused with ideas on experimenting the boundaries on how humanity perceives music, Blank Vacuum merges the concepts of drone, noise, ambient, and minimalism to offer a salad of euphoria, anxiety, horror, beauty, and elegance through the resonance of the instruments inspired by life, death, and the universe.
Musings From The Morgue is a 5 track collaborative piece by these two artists. Blending noise/drone guitar with horror themes and experimental orchestrations.
